It’s never been easier to express my idea about a documentary. This is by far the best documentary I’ve seen on the relationship between Iran and the western countries. They have interviewed high profile political figures (Khatami, Rafsanjani, Putin, Rice, …). I strongly recommend you to watch it.

بالاخره خاتمی نامزد انتخابات ریاست جمهوری شد (بی بی سی). خیلی وقت بود که منتظر بودم رسما اعلام کنه که میاد. آخرین مطلبی که در مورد خاتمی نوشتم بر می گرده به حدود یک سال و نیم پیش (من و خاتمی). توی دو تا از سخنرانی های خاتمی بودم و یه برخورد نزدیک هم باهاش داشتم. اگه خیلی های هستن که می گن خاتمی هیچ کاری نکرد باید وضعیت چهار سال پیش ایران رو با الان مقایسه کنن. اوضاع سیاسی ایران از اون موقع همینطور بدتر و بدتر شده. وقتی وضعیت الان رو با آخرین سالهای خاتمی مقایسه می کنم باورم نمیشه که یکی تونسته تصویر ایران رو از یک کشور صلح طلب و متمدن به یک جنگ طلب خطرناک تبدیل کنه.
اومدن خاتمی برای خیلی ها یه امید تازه هست. یه جور اوبامای ایرانی. البته تفاوت زیاده، ولی یه جور کور سوی امیده. به نظر من اهمیت اومدن خاتمی اینه که اگر انتخاب بشه امید هست که آبروی از دست رفته ایران رو پس بگیره. خیلی ها خاتمی رو با «گفتگو» میشناسن. وقتی توی سازمان ملل سخنرانی می کرد نه هاله ای دور سرش بود و نه ادعایی داشت. ولی ملت به حرف هاش گوش می دادن. واقعا گوش میدادن.
نمی دونم خبر اومدن خاتمی اینقدر مهم بوده که توی اخبار سی تی وی مونترال هم بود، بین پنج شش تا خبر اصلیش بود. برام جالبه که فقط ما نیستیم که امیدواریم یه آدمی که دو کلمه حرف حساب سرش میشه بیاد سر کار.
نصف آرزوم از آخر پست قبلی محقق شد. اون نصفه دیگه هم با ملت.
