The sound in the background

I took the subway today to McGill, just like every other weekday. I was in a hurry, so I was not exactly paying attention to the surroundings. But when I stepped into the subway train, the music player on my phone started playing Crawling Demo by Linkin Park. It’s one of my favorites. The lyrics start with:

“Aaaaaah! I Hate You so much right now…”

Exactly at that moment I saw a couple kissing in front of me on the train.

Obviously the above image was not taken by me (taken from here).

It’s not uncommon to see couples kiss on the subway, but the sound in the background was in the exact opposite direction. That moment was one of those in which you get a feeling that you can’t easily identify. It’s like meeting an old friend when you are badly angry with something else.

Anyhow, it ended up with a smile on my face and a chill down the spine.Yes, I adore couples, specially mixed ones.
